You can make this a special holiday season for an underprivileged boy or girl by donating a new, unwrapped toy. You may drop toys at various locations around the county. 11/1 – 12/19
LEGOLAND Holiday Snow Days and Winter Nights
Build a snowman with LEGO® accessories and throw real snowballs at colorful targets. Ride snow tubes down a hill. Experience the magic of Winter Nights with shows, music, and twinkling lights. There’s even a food truck with yummy treats served by Santa’s Elves. Stay for the nightly fireworks over Miniland USA, December 26-30.

Balboa Park December Nights
Balboa Park December Nights, the nation’s premier holiday festival, will take place for the 38th consecutive year on Friday, Dec. 4, 3-11pm, and Saturday, Dec. 5, noon-11pm. As always, the event brings families and friends together to spread holiday joy, learn more about the cultural value of Balboa Park and kick-off the “most wonderful time of the year.”
Coronado Open House at Ferry Landing
Each year the Coronado Chamber of Commerce hosts a Holiday Parade and Open House celebration for the community to come together in the holiday spirit and enjoy our beautiful city.
This year’s Holiday Parade will be on Friday, December 4 at 6 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!
Alpine Snow Festival
Santa arrives in Alpine riding down Alpine Boulevard from Victoria Drive at the Alpine Woman’s Club for the 20th annual Alpine Village Christmas Parade of Lights. Immediately following the parade, Santa and his helpers will light the Alpine Community Christmas Tree at the Alpine Creek Town Center, 1347 Tavern Road.

Holiday Wonderland at Petco Park
Holiday Wonderland is back at Petco Park for the second year and it’s bigger and better than ever. Be transported through a spectacular holiday wonderland full of fun for the entire family for 12 nights in December.

Holiday Tree Lighting & Winter Wonderland Festival
Holiday Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland Festival is an annual community event where we bring the North Pole to the heart of Escondido. Children will have the chance to frolic in real snow, decorate their very own Christmas cookies, and create fun, hand-made gifts for their loved ones.

North Park Toyland Festival
Gliding down University Avenue between Utah and Iowa Streets, this cheerful parade will feel like a Winter Wonderland, as melodious marching bands, upbeat dance groups, cool vintage cars, beauty queens, city officials and more, warm your spirits. Santa Claus will be riding atop his merry red fire engine and bells will be ringing as loved ones snuggle up in the bright, frosty air.

Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village
The Little Italy Association is proud to present the 16th Annual Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village. This year, the festivities will be held on W. Fir between Columbia and Kettner.

Vista Winterfest Tree Lighting
This Friday evening Christmas Tree lighting event ends with a Silent Night sing-along in Downtown Vista. There will be Arts and Craft vendors, music and other activities for an evening of family fun. Horse Drawn Carriage Ride. Tree lighting on Friday, Dec. 5th 6:15 PM at the Cinepolis
Del Mar Santa by the Sea
Seasonal tunes will be performed by the Original Dickens Carolers. Enjoy arts and crafts with the Rad Hatter and write your letter and mail it to the North Pole! Holiday treats and refreshments will be available from local restaurants. Children can also participate in the Passport to the North Pole. The Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony is scheduled for 5 p.m, at the L’Auberge Amphitheater.

Hanukkah Menorah Lighting UTC Shopping Center
The 8-foot-tall outdoor menorah will be lit to commemorate the beginning of Chanukah. A candle will be lit each night of Chanukah. The event Sunday will include a celebration with food, entertainment, traditional music and free menorahs and candles for local children.
Winter Nights Westfield Mall UTC
Live musical performances, snow cascading from the rooftops, family caricature art portraits, meet & greet with Santa, delicious bites/sips and more!

Mission Bay Christmas Boat Parade of Lights
This free, distinctly California celebration features boats decorated for the annual holiday season that will sail around Mission Bay. A highly anticipated event in the San Diego community, dozens of vessels take to the water for the parade.
